What the numbers don't say

  • Your tax residency must be settled before you arrive, not after. It is the costliest thing to fix retroactively.
  • School decides the neighbourhood, never the other way round. International school places are booked 9 to 12 months ahead.
  • A year-round berth of this size is the real scarce asset. Look for it alongside the boat, not afterwards.
