Yachting

Yachting on the Côte d'Azur: buy, charter, moor

A boat behaves like property: the berth commands everything. An available mooring is often worth more than an extra option on the hull.

Settle the berth before you buy

Riviera marinas are saturated for some lengths. Check availability, contract length and annual cost before committing to a boat.

Buy or charter

A few weeks of use a year is usually better served by charter. Beyond that, ownership makes sense — with a broker running the search, survey, negotiation and registration.

  • Flag, VAT and operating status
  • Pre-purchase survey and sea trials
  • Crew, management, maintenance and winter storage
